The proposed work consists of:The replacement of four (4) school zone flasher assemblies at Highland Elemen-tary, McCord Junior High, St. JOG'S School,. and Toledo Islamic Academy. All bids shall be signed and submitted on the blanks whit -I are bound in the bidding documents. Bid blanks must be returned in the bound documents. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time will neither be read nor considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The City of Sylvania reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid, to determine the lowest and best bidder.. and to waive any informali-ties in bidding. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A. Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in this booklet. The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.] 2. A certi-fied check,, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the City of Sylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. Upon acceptance of the work, a one year maintenance bond in the amount of 25% of the contract will be required to guarantee such work. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
