Renovation of a water / sewer project in Silverton, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of January 11, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. To install a screw press to thicken digested sludge. The City has previously purchased the screw press and has constructed a pole barn building to house the screw press. The project includes installation of piping and electrical, pouring of slab inside building, installing screw press, and installing the sludge pump and air gap water system in two new smaller buildings. The selected contractor will install the new equipment, new buildings, complete all required electrical connections, complete all control programming, and other work necessary to ensure the new equipment is installed and operating correctly. City hall is open Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM. The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the City if it is in the public interest to do so. All questions related to the project must be directed to the Project Manager no later than November 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Questions must be submitted via e-mail to Bart Stepp at bstepp@silverton.or.us.
