Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Silverton, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of January 4, 2024, per owner, design team and general contractor have been identified. Construction began in June 2023. The City of Silverton is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFP) for consulting engineering and survey services to design infrastructure improvements along approximately 1,400 feet of 2nd Street from Lincoln Street south past Whittier Street in Silverton, OR. Most of 2nd Street in this section does not have curbs or sidewalk and existing storm infrastructure consists of ditches with culverts. Licensed engineering and surveying services are required. All questions related to this RFP must be emailed to Bart Stepp at bstepp@silverton.or.us. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
