As of March 28, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Silverton is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFP) for consulting engineering and survey services to provide the design for a new water treatment plant located adjacent to the existing facilities at 121 Ames Street, Silverton, OR. The existing plant has two water treatment plants, two reservoirs, and a booster pump station on-site. The City has previously completed pilot testing of treatment systems and has chosen a Trident Package Water Treatment Plant from WesTech Engineering, Inc. as the treatment system. All questions related to this Request for Proposal must be emailed in writing to Bart Stepp at bstepp@silverton.or.us. The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the City if it is in the public interest to do so. As of September 18, 2020, the Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
