Well drilling and operation equipment Granger-Hunter Improvement is requesting proposals for pump & motor repairs and installation for Well No. 8. The work includes pump bowl repairs and assembly, motor rehabilitation, replacement of portions of the tube, shaft and column, installation of bearings, installation of sounder and injection tubes, and startup. There is also an adder for upgrade to a water-lube tube and shaft. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is part of a competitive procurement process which helps to serve the best interests of the District and its customers (Utah Code 63G-6a-702). It also provides each Proposer with a fair opportunity for its products to be considered. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Any proposers will be responsible for coordinating with Nickerson for any additional inspection required to develop a proposal. The District will not pay to move any equipment to a different location for inspection. The motor and pump inspection reports are included as an appendix at the end of this RFP. The well shaft is oil-lube.
