Renovation of an educational facility in Hardin, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids will be received for subcontracts. Bids shall be submitted on the form provided in the Project Manual. Attention to Bidders is particularly called to the conditions of employment to be observed wage rates from both Montana Prevailing Wage Rates or Davis-Bacon Wage Rates may be required under the Contract. Because both federal and state funds are being utilized for this project, the Contractor shall pay the higher wages of either the Montana Prevailing Wage Rates or the Davis- Bacon Wage Rates, based upon each's classification rules. This project also requires the Contractor to comply with 1 % Gross Receipts Tax per Montana Code Annotated. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract amount is required with submission of Bid. And 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are required from the Contractor prior to work commencing on site. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid until sixty (60) days after receipt of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive all informalities or reject any or all Bids.
