The Geneva Park District is accepting sealed bids for the following identified project: 2022 Sunset Pool Bathhouse Renovation Project. Sealed bids plainly marked "Sealed Bid - 2022 Sunset Pool Bathhouse Renovation Project" All bids must be submitted on the proposal forms included in the bid documents and accompanied by cash, a certified bank draft, or a bond from an accredited surety company - payable to: Geneva Park District for an amount equal to 10% of the bid submitted. All contracts for work herein are subject to all Park District rules and regulations. To the extent the Prevailing Wage Act applies, the contractor is responsible for the payment of Kane County's prevailing wage rate to all workers involved in this project. All bids will remain firm for 90 days after the bid opening. The Geneva Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid proposals, in whole or in part, which in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the public or to waive any informalities in bidding. Only bid proposals in compliance with the provisions of the Contract Documents will be considered. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid date opening. The Geneva Park District encourages small and minority businesses and women's business firms to submit bids on the approved project and successful contract bidders to utilize small and minority businesses and women's businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
