Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in McHenry, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The City of McHenry does hereby invite sealed bids for the Miller Point Improvements project. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, water, sanitary, and storm sewer services, restroom building, splash pad, park pavilion, asphalt patching, concrete curbs, walks and paving, site furnishings, planting and seeding, stone masonry, and lighting installation. Bids will be opened at the time of submittal and read aloud. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid, payable to the City of McHenry. The City of McHenry reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the City of McHenry. The City of McHenry encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
