As of 11/14/22 this project has been postponed. The new bid opening date will be in December 2022. The Work of the Project will be let in a single General Construction contract ("Contract") and is known as WARREN COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE AVIATION PROJECT 22-0002. The Project involves the construction of a 40'x60' pavilion structure, 102'x12' shelter structure, 10'x14' storage shed to support the Warren County Community College Drone Program. Work includes clearing site, excavation and grading, sidewalk and porous asphalt pedestrian trails, safety netting, electrical service, security, lighting and multimedia improvements, drainage improvements and restoration. A Notice to Proceed will be issued after the Tentative Decision Date for Contract Award by the Board of Trustees of Warren County Community College scheduled for the 16th day of November 2022 and upon receipt of the executed Contract and receipt from the Contractor of the required bonds and insurance certificates. The Bid Solicitation package, inclusive of the Contract Documents and the required Bid submissions, may be examined, without charge, at the office of Dean of Administration at Warren County Community College, 475 Route 57 West, Washington, New Jersey 07882. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the Bidder and plainly marked to indicate the project name. The College assumes no responsibility for Bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. Late Bids will automatically be rejected. No Bids will be accepted by e-mail or facsimile transmission. A Bidder's Bid Proposal must be accompanied by Bid Security consisting of a Certified Check or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the College or a Bid Bond, on a form provided by the College in its Bid Solicitation. The amount of such Bid Security shall be the Bid Price as provided by N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.16 & 17, are also required. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid opening. The College reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, reject materially nonconforming Bids and to waive minor Bid informalities to the full extent that it is permitted to do so under the County College Contracts Law. The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time and place set forth above for receipt of Bids. All Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal form included in the Bid Solicitation and must strictly conform to the requirements of the Bid Solicitation. Bidders must include with their Bid Proposals all of the various documents and forms specified for such submission within the Bid Solicitation.
