CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 11/28/2022 11:00 AM Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. Attention is called to the fact that Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex or national origin. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest. Funding for this project is from the City of Reading's Community Development Block Grant. Work commences upon notice to proceed issued by the City of Reading. The contractor shall order the play/spray equipment within one (1) month of notice to proceed. All work shall be fully completed within 120 calendar days from receipt of equipment.
