As of March 22, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The project includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials (excluding culvert structure, headwalls and wingwalls) and equipment to complete the removal of the existing culvert, existing endwalls, and existing steel pipe railing, and replacing with a new 20'-0" x 7'-6-3/4" ConSpan 0220 culvert structure and wingwalls (approximately 54.5 LF), rip rap embankment protection, and roadway resurfacing located in Eighth Avenue. The project also involves tree removal and curb, sidewalk, and roadway removal and replacement, as well as storm sewer and sanitary sewer improvements. The project will also include diverting the existing stream around the work area, bypass pumping of the sanitary, installing and maintaining erosion and sediment controls, providing maintenance and protection of traffic and restoration of all areas disturbed during the construction of the project. The proposed structure, headwalls and wingwalls will be bid under separate contract. All installation activities shall be completed by the successful bidder of this construct.
