RFP - Professional Services for Solid Waste Consulting The City of La Canada Flintridge is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for solid waste consulting. The scope of work includes evaluating and analyzing solid waste services. Consultants will also assist with the reporting and implementation of State recycling requirements, including but not limited to: AB 939, AB 341, AB1826, and SB 1383. Technical and Cost Proposals shall be submitted in separate sealed envelopes and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, Technical Proposal for "Solid Waste Consulting Services" and "Cost Proposal for Solid Waste Consulting Services", respectively. Proposals must bear original signatures. Sealed proposals must be addressed to Mr. Patrick V. DeChellis, Director of Public Works, and mailed or delivered to the Public Works Department at the City Hall, One Civic Center Drive, La Canada Flintridge, California 91011. Queries regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to pdechellis@lcf.ca.gov with copy to jjeffrey@lcf.ca.gov. no later than November 8, 2022. All addenda, if any, will only be posted on the City's electronically. It shall be the Proposer's responsibility to check the City's electronically for any addenda. Any questions shall be directed to the Public Works Department at (818) 790-8882. All Proposers shall be licensed in the State of California in accordance with provisions of the Business and Professions Code and shall possess a valid license at the time of Proposal's submittal. The successful Consultant and his subconsultants will be required to possess business licenses from the City. All responses to this RFP shall become the sole property of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and any item or items therein and to waive any non-conformity of proposals with this RFP, whether of a technical or substantive nature, in the interest of the City. The City also reserves the right to retain all proposals for a period of 90 days. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
