Any request for USPS must be received no later than the Thursday before bid opening date (November 10,2022). Bids will be accepted only from plan holders of official record. A certified check representing five percent (5%) of the proposal or a minimum of $50,000, drawn on a solvent bank, and payable to the Mahoning County Treasurer, or a bid bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the proposal dr a minimum of $50,000 in lieu thereof must accompany each and every proposal as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Board ol County Commissioners, in the manner provided by law. A oertormance bond in the amount ot 100% of the contract orice will be reouired after the award of the contract. However, if the item bid is available for immediate delivery and specified as such in the bid, a performance bond will not be reouired. Bids of Corporations not chartered in Ohio MUST be accompanied by proper certifications that such Corporation is licensed to do business in Ohio. Attention of the Bidder is directed to the requirements that each proposal must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, properly executed by the Bidder. Further, the successiul Bidder will be required to execute an affidavit required by Sec. 5719.042 of the Ohio Revised Code. No payment shall be made on any contract for which no such affidavit has been submrtted. The Board of Mahoning County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, In addition, the Board of Mahoning County Commissioners reserves the right to participate in state contracts which the Department ol Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing has enlered into for the purpose of supplies, services, equipment and certain materials pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Soction 125.04. No bids may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. Each Bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex or national ongrn. CLEARLY INDICATE THE ITEM BEING BID. AS WELL AS THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE PERSON OR BUSINESS SUBMITTING THE BID, ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE SEALED ENVELOPE CONTAINING THE BID,
