The major work will consist of the following: Asphalt pavement preventive maintenance services that includes; sealing asphalt cracks with modified asphaltic emulsion applied through pressurized injection followed by the application of a pavement sealant with a minimum thickness of 1/8". Major item quantities are shown below: 82,500 SY Pavement Sealant with Surfacing Material To ensure potential bidders are kept up to date of any new information pertinent to this project, all interested parties are requested to email Expressions of Interest in this procurement to the City Project Manager and the Design Engineer. The email should include the company's name, contact person and that individual's email address and phone number. If a prebid conference is held, the presentation and any questions and answers provided at the prebid conference will be issued as an Addendum to the call for bids. If a prebid conference is not being held, prospective bidders can e-mail questions or comments in accordance with Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders referenced above to the project manager(s) at the e-mail addresses listed below. Emailed questions will suffice as "questions in writing." If necessary, Addenda will be issued pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders. City will award a contract to the Bidder presenting the lowest price, qualifications and competencies considered. Any Contract awarded under this INVITATION TO BIDDERS is expected to be funded from revenues generated from bonds, grants etc. and reserved by the City for the Project.
