Town of Jonesville (Town) is Seeking Qualification Statements From Engineering Firms for Performance Services Required for the Creation of the Glenn Ditch Pumping Station at the West End of Town. The Proposed Site is to Be at the Edge of the City Limits, Near the Drainage Canal Called, Glenn Ditch. Background: Jonesville is Located in the Central East Section of Louisiana With a Population of Approximately 1,756, Based Upon the 2020 Census Count. Historically, Jonesville is Known as the Area Where Four Rivers Meet. Project Description: the Project Engineering Services Consist of Acquiring Ride Away Permits, Project Design, and Other Permitting and Construction Services Related to the Glenn Ditch Project. Funding: Funding is Being Provided in Part Through the Louisiana Office of Facility Planning and Control / Capital Outlay and the Louisiana Watershed Initiative. Additional Funding May Be Available Through the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness or Through Other Available Federal and/or State Funding Sources. When Leveraging Funds, the Selected Firm Will Be Required to Provide Engineering Services in Accordance With Rules and Regulations Associated With All Funding Programs Involved With the Project. The Intent of the Town is to Award a Cost Reimbursement Contract With Payment Terms to Be Negotiated With the Selected Firm and Based on Funding Programs Allowable Engineering Fees.
