The Springfield Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Removal of Fuel Oil Storage Tanks and Site Restoration at 1118 Saint James Avenue in Springfield, Massachusetts with the documents prepared by Atlas Technical Consultants LLC of West Springfield, MA. The Project Consists of: The removal of two (2) 10,000 gallon single-wall storage fiberglass underground storage tanks. The removal of the gas dispensers and shed are included. Also, the removal of a 250-gallon single-walled steel above ground storage tank. Site restoration shall be included as part of the bid. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30, 39M , CFR 2 Part 200, and subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Rates Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Springfield Housing Authority .A 50% Payment Bond will be required when contract is awarded.
