Financial Feasibility Assessment for Sports Tourism and Recreational Complex This bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B and other procurement statutes. The City of Springfield is requesting proposals to execute a financial feasibility assessment for a multi-use sports tourism and recreational complex to be sited in the City of Springfield. The City plans to award one team/organization to administer the project with all activities complete within eight weeks of contracting. The maximum award in this program will be $45,000 The City seeks to bring more vitality to Springfield by attracting major youth sports and recreational events along with the associated demand in the hospitality sector including hotel room nights, as well as restaurant and retail spending.The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to so All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by November 15, 2022 at 4:00P.M. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
