Renovation of a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Springfield Redevelopment Authority (SRA) is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced design firm to provide professional design and construction administrative services for the proposed Western MA Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, at Springfield's Union Station in Springfield, Massachusetts. These services are being sought in accordance with the Massachusetts Designer Selection Law. The design fee has been set at a not to exceed fee of $200,000. The estimated construction cost is estimated to range from $1.8- $2M. Design services to include design development, construction contract documents, bidding and award of construction contract, construction administration, and final closeout. All questions regarding this RFQ must be made in writing and received by the CPO (apham@springfieldcityhall.com) by end of business on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in order to be considered. The SRA reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so.The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
