As of January 5, 2023, a design engineer has not been selected. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference Granite School District (GSD) requires the services of a qualified Architect or Engineer (Designer) to provide design services for the Fuel Storage and Dispensing System Replacement at the GSD Transportation and Maintenance Facilities. The successful Designer will provide services for preliminary investigation, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding support, and contract administration during construction. Project construction documents are to be completed by Designer by Friday, March 31, 2023 in order to be bid and awarded to Contractors for construction during the summer of 2024, with completion of the Transportation Center by not later than July 31, 2024 and at the Maintenance Compound by not later than September 27, 2024. GSD is required to replace the underground fuel storage tanks and fuel dispensing systems at the GSD Transportation Center (3000 Parkway Boulevard, Salt Lake City) and the GSD Maintenance Compound (380 W 3050 S, Salt Lake City) prior to the end of 2024 as part of mandatory upgrades required by the State Fuel Network. The work at each Facility will include, but may not be limited to, the following: 1. Removal of existing underground fuel tanks and fuel dispensing system. 2. New underground fuel tanks and DEF tank to meet State Fuel Network specifications. 3. New dispensing system, including card readers, pumps, and fueling stations, to meet State Fuel Network specifications. 4. Fuel storage and dispensing facility shall meet the lowest risk tier of the Division of Emergency Response and Remediation, Department of Environmental Quality for petroleum storage tanks.
