The Hamilton Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Housing Type: Elderly 667-1 Development for the Hamilton Housing Authority in Hamilton Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Nilsson + Siden Associates, Inc. The Project consists of: Base Bid - At Building 24 Unit E, Building 34 Unit C and Building 34 Unit D - Renovate existing tenant bathrooms. Alternate No.1 - At Building 24 Unit A renovate existing tenant bathroom. Alternate No.2 - At Building 34 Unit G renovate existing tenant bathroom. Alternate No.3 - At Building 34 Unit H renovate existing tenant bathroom. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 to 27H inclusive. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the City or Town Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates.
