The Washington County Natural Resources Department is seeking sealed bids to replace the existing hall flooring and renovate two restrooms and two shower rooms at the Glacier Hills County Park Hall, located at 1664 Friess Lake Rd, Hubertus, WI 53033. Bidders may register at no charge with through the Wisconsin Association for Public Procurement agreement. The bid packet for this request will be available starting October 20, 2022 through the County's website. from the home page, scroll right to the Bids and Proposals link) or you may access the bid packet through at website. The hall flooring replacement generally consists of removing and disposing the existing flooring, carpeting, and subfloor (approximately 4,000 SF) and replacing the subfloor with 1/4-inch plywood, and installing new, 20-millimeter commercial grade, waterproof, glue-down, luxury vinyl tile floor (Mohawk, Select Step) as listed in the bid specifications (or equivalent) to the Countyís satisfaction at the Glacier Hills County Park Hall. The hall is available for the new flooring to be replaced either January 16th - February 5th, 2023, or March 5th - March 19th, 2023. This will be bidder's only opportunity to see project site, the site conditions and to take measurements for this project. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will result in the disqualification of the firm's bid. Bid security is required and shall be by a qualified surety in the form of a bid bond in the amount of the bid amount and shall be submitted with the bid. Failure to submit the required bid security as part of the firm's sealed bid will result in immediate rejection of the firm's bid. All bidders shall be experienced in this type of work and will need to complete and submit a Bidderís Statement of Qualifications in order to be prequalified with Washington County for this work. This completed form is to be received no later than 5 days prior to the bid opening. The Bidder's Statement of Qualifications Form is included in the bid document for this project. Additionally, bidders are to include with their bid three (3) references of similar projects completed within the past 3 years that Washington County may contact as well. Washington County reserves the right to waive any informalities or technicalities and to reject any and all bids or parts thereof deemed to be unsatisfactory or not in the County's best interest. Furthermore, Washington County reserves the right to cancel any order or contract for failure of the successful bidder to comply with the terms, conditions and specifications of the bid request and/or contract. Washington County reserves the right to award the bid in the aggregate or by item or like item groups (where applicable) to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder who complies with the specifications, service and can meet the requirements of this bid.
