The Washington County Planning and Parks Department is seeking single prime general contractor bids to provide all the materials, parts, components, supplies and labor to construct 5 new small cabins at the Glacier Hills County Park, located at 1664 Friess Lake Rd, Hubertus, WI 53033. This project generally consists of providing all the materials, parts, components, supplies and labor to construct 5 tiny cabins at the Glacier Hills County Park at the address listed above. All work for this project is to be completed to the County's satisfaction by August 20, 2021. All bidders shall be experienced in this type of work and will need complete and submit a Bidder's Statement of Qualifications in order to be pre-qualified with Washington County for this work. This completed form is to be received no later than 5 days prior to the bid opening. The Bidders Qualification Form is included in the bid document for this project. Additionally, bidders are to include with their bid three (3) references of similar projects completed within the past 3 years that Washington County may contact as well. Bid security is required and shall be by a qualified surety in the form of a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, and shall be submitted with the bid. Failure to submit the required bid security as part of the firm's sealed bid will result in immediate rejection of the firm's bid. Accepted bidder will also be required to furnish in the amount of 100% of the contract price, satisfactory Performance/Payment Bond and acceptable Certificate of Insurance. Washington County reserves the right to waive any informalities or technicalities and to reject any and all bids or parts thereof deemed to be unsatisfactory or not in the County's best interest.
