Renovation of a municipal facility in Tualatin, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Restroom improvements and renovation project to include plumbing, electrical, and mechanical for fixture replacement, surface coatings, lighting, ventilation, water heater additions, dispensers, door frame, door hardware, and ADA compliance. Project Award - November 30, 2022 Project Start Date - TBD by successful contractor Project Completion - by March 3, 2023 Quote Process: The quote is a firm quote that cannot be retracted. Except for plan changes directed by the City, the quote is considered lump sum. If a directed change is implemented, Contractor's quote unit costs will be applied to the change in quantity. Any quote items noted as allowances shall be invoiced based on actual, certified effort at the quote unit prices. Further, all work is considered to be complete, and all effort necessary to deliver as such shall be considered incidental to Contractor's quote tab. Contractor shall perform incidental work at no additional cost to the City. Questions shall be sent via email to Rich Mueller at Rmueller@tualatin.gov. Responses to email questions will be sent to all planholders that indicate interest Contractor Selection: The City reserves the right to select any Contractor in accordance with procurement policies. This solicitation is an intermediate procurement for competitive quotes per ORS 279C.412. The City shall award the contract to the prospective contractor whose quote will best serve the interests of the City, taking into account price as well as any other applicable factors such as, but not limited to, experience, specific expertise, availability, project understanding, contractor capacity and responsibility. There are three existing unisex restrooms located between a storage room and equipment room. These restrooms have exposed concrete floors and sealed CMU walls. Each have one toilet, lavatories, and hand dryer. The work for these are as follows: a) Increased ventilation b) Remove and replace all plumbing fixtures c) Replace hand dryers & add paper towel dispensers d) Replace soap dispensers e) Remove and replace grab bars after new wall surface is applied f) Install Instantaneous hot water heater to all for hot & cold water to lavatories g) Floor cracks are to be filled prior to installation of new epoxy flooring h) Door frame replacement and hardware modifications i) Add solar tube/skylight with light well lighting improvements j) Floor and wall surface coatings k) Contractor to salvage existing fixtures and turn over to City l) Haul off of demolition materials m) Project details and specifications can be found in Commons Restroom Improvements Plan Sheets (Exhibit C attached) and Project Manual for Commons Rest Room Facility Accessibility Upgrades (Exhibit D attached). n) No UV-C Air Purification System - Do Not Include as Add Alternate o) Unistrut attachment(s) on plumbing chase side (opposite side of the wall) to mount/secure toilets/fixtures.
