Gary Burns Phone: 859-622-7125 e-mail: gary.burns@eku.edu Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is seeking a qualified company to provide electrical grid hazard analysis services on an annual basis as well as callback services as needed for the University. The bid will be broken out into multiple bid items based upon this. See below for pricing details. Work will include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary. Refer to the Scope of work under attachments for the full details and requirements. A point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. If deemed in the best interest of the University, the University reserves the right to award the bid in part or in whole and to award multiple vendors. Any awarded contract will be non-exclusive.
Pricing Structure:
S1.1 - Annual cost for the Arc Flash Hazard Analysis program annually
S1.2 - Weekday hourly rate for callback service, 24/7
S1.3 - Saturday hourly rate for callback service, 24/7
S1.4 - Sunday hourly rate for callback service, 24/7
S1.5 - Holiday hourly rate for callback service, 24/7 EKU seeks a contract resulting from this bid to have an initial term of five (5) years from the award date through June 30, 2027, with an option to renew for additional one-year periods. The total contract period will not exceed eight (8) years, subject to KRS 45A.145. Any renewal period will be contingent upon the Universitys needs and satisfaction with the services performed and the overall performance of the Contractor. The University reserves the right to renegotiate any term and/or condition as may be necessary to meet requirements for any renewal period. The Successful Bidder will be advised of any proposed revisions prior to the renewal period.
