Renovation of an educational facility in Richmond, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Questions Due By: 12/14/2022 no later than 2:00PM (ET) Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is issuing this RFP for the purpose of procuring proposals for the provision of comprehensive A&E service for masonry and roof repairs at EKU's Coates building. The Coates Building is two stories plus a walk-out basement, with approximately 39,619 square feet, built in 1928, which houses an 1,850 seat auditorium and university's administrative offices including President's office. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as the Bluegrass Trust. Moisture intrusions have caused damage to the building envelope and interior finishes. Hazardous materials are present in various materials, including the roof membrane. Environmental reports are available upon request. As built of the building along with subsequent renovation are available upon request. While the contract will be awarded to the Successful Offeror who best satisfies all of EKU's needs as outlined in this event, the University encourages Offerors to provide creative responses to this RFP and will entertain alternatives proposed for services that are specified in this RFP. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
