As of January 20, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. WCRESA is requesting proposals for complete removal and replacement of the existing roofs on Area 5 in B Wing, Area 8 in A Wing, installation of a vapor retarder, flat stock and tapered insulation, roof membrane, base flashing and sheet metal flashing and counterflashing at the WCRESA Education Center. Area 9 - Main Entrance Vestibule includes partial removal of EIFS system on parapets, sheet metal roof panel system, skylight and installation of tapered insulation, roof membrane, base flashing and sheet metal flashing and counterflashing (see Attachment #8). Services will be provided at the following location: Wayne County RESA Education Center 33500 Van Born Road Wayne, MI 48184 All bidders are required to prequalify no later than 7 days prior to submission of bids. Utilize AIA Form A305 (see Attachment #8). Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a company certified check, bank cashiers' check, bank money order (payable to Wayne RESA) or a Michigan-licensed surety's Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Bid Security shall be provided with the Bid Proposal (see Attachment #8). The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the project. The cost of these bonds is to be included in the Base Bid.
