Skagit Regional Health is requesting electronic bids from contractors to perform, for a stipulated sum, the work specified in the Bidding Advertisement and Contract Documents for the project identified as: Cascade Valley Hospital - Facility Improvements. This is a public works project pursuant to Chapter 39.04 RCW and other provisions ofstate law. Project Location: Cascade Valley Hospital, 330 S Stillaguamish Avenue, Arlington, WA,98223 This project consists of upgrades to the existing campus mechanical infrastructure involving improvements to the campus central cooling systems and upgrades to building 1 central air handling systems. Improvements to the campus chilled water system includes new central air-cooled chillers, a new chiller dedicated to the cooling requirements of the surgery department, higher capacity central chilled water pumps/infrastructure, and expansion of the campus system to replace direct refrigerant based systems for improved campus wide flexibility. This project also includes upgrades to the air handling systems serving building 1 providing them with increased capacity and system flexibility to deliver environmental air. Each bid shall be accompanied by the following completed documents: Bidders Statement Responsibility Form Bidders Statement of Relevant Experience Form Authorization to Release Information Form Subcontractor List Proposed Construction Schedule Each bid shall be accompanied by a. bid security in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, postal money order, electronic bond or security bond made payable to the order of Skagit Regional Health, for the sum of not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his/ her bid after the date and hour set for bid submittal unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days Substitution requests will not be accepted during the bid process beyond 10 calendar days prior to the bid opening. Skagit Regional Health will then review the proposals and qualifications of the apparent lowest bidder and determine if they meet the published responsibility criteria. As part of this review, Skagit Regional Health may request an interview with the low bidder. All questions regarding the project must be received no later than 11am on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Answers to any questions received prior to the deadline will be published via addenda on Friday, November 18, 2022. The project shall be substantially complete by May 8, 2023.
