Site work for a water / sewer project in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves the construction of 2,907 L.F. of new and replacement 8-inch and 12-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe and eight precast concrete manholes. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 11/29/2022 11:00 AM This project involves the construction of 912 L.F. of new 8-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe and five new precast concrete manholes, and the replacement of three precast concrete manholes, 1,495 L.F. of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe, and 224 L.F. of 12-inch diameter gravity sanitary sewer pipe. Add items include the replacement of seven additional precast concrete manholes, 132 LF of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe, and 144 LF of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe.
