Contract No: D12-12055452 Wbs Element No.: 21s.023, 21s.036, 22s.023 & 22s.036 County: Cleveland & Gaston Route No.: Various Location: Various Interstate, Primary and Secondary Roads Type of Work: on-call Snow & Ice Removal With Multi Axle Trucks The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for snow and ice removal / multi axle trucks on various interstate, primary and secondary roads in Cleveland & Gaston Counties. The Contractor is to furnish labor, material, equipment and traffic control. The date of availability for this contract is January 25, 2023. The completion date for this contract is January 24, 2024. Bid bond not required.electronic bidding will not be accepted. Potential Bidders must be prequalified as Bidder or P.O. Prime Contractor at the time of bid opening in order to be considered responsible. Paper Bids will be accepted as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders contained in the Proposal. Electronic Bidding will not be accepted. Bid Bonds are not required. The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin.
