Renovation of a municipal facility in Findlay, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,699-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.

Proposals are invited to furnish labor and material for: Office Renovations for Blanchard Valley Center for the Hancock County Board of DD 1700 East Sandusky Street - Findlay, Ohio Any proposals received after time and date above stated will be returned to bidder unopened. Prices quoted in Base Proposals shall be guaranteed for a period of sixty (60) days after date of proposal. Should a bidder find any discrepancies in, or omissions from, any of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall advise the Architect by e-mail, who will issue necessary addenda, or revised drawings, as may be appropriate. However, no request for clarification will be accepted after five (5) days before date on which bids are due. All requests shall be directed to Michael Work and Julie Erwin by e-mail at mwork@rcmarchitects.com and jerwin@rcmarchitects.com. Any addenda issued prior to opening of proposals shall be acknowledged on the proposal form. Bids will be received for the following construction: Bids must contain the names of every person interested therein and be accompanied by either:as guarantee that the Bidder will, if the award is made to the Bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Owner for the project. All such bonds, certified checks, cashiers checks and letters of credit shall be payable to the Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities . Bids must also contain an executed Affidavit of Personal Property Tax, and Certificate of Non-Discrimination Policy. No bid shall be considered unless made on the forms provided by the Owner and in accordance with the contract documents, which consist of all advertisements and notices, the instructions to bidders, specifications and drawings and bid form, all of which are available and may be obtained as herein above set forth. The Owner intends to accept the lowest responsible bid or bids for the projects but reserves the right to reject any and all, or parts of any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in any bid, or to make the award in the best interest of the Owner. Bids will be received for the following work categories: General Construction (Including work of all divisions) Bidders are hereby notified that the bids will be rejected if the Base Bid amount exceeds the architect s estimate by more than ten (10) percent. Materials purchased for use of consumption in connection with the proposed work will be exempt from the State of Ohio Sales Tax. Bids shall be based on Prevailing Wage Rates of the State of Ohio.
