Site work for a power facility in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is seeking contractors for the purpose of delivery, assembly and testing for two (2) 230 kV to 138 kV autotransformers at the Parker substation. The transformer shall be outdoor station type complete with oil. It shall be a single winding auto transformer, self-cooled at the base rating with two stages of forced air cooling. Use of forced oil cooling is not acceptable for any cooling stage. The two transformers in Attachment 3, Technical Specifications shall be designed to operate in parallel with each other. Each transformer shall be manufactured and tested at a facility within the U.S.A.
