The work includes an assessment of water quality for receiving environments near Metro Vancouver's largest wastewater treatment plants as detailed in Section 00100. The objective of the work is to provide the Corporation with a report summarizing values and ratings for receiving environment water quality of the Fraser River, Strait of Georgia, and Burrard Inlet based on the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment Water Quality Index (CCME WQI) framework. CCME WQI values for each water body derived from this work will be used as Key Performance Indicators for the Corporation. The Corporation will provide the successful Proponent with water quality monitoring data to complete this work; no additional field work or data collection will be required. This RFP is for five (5) years of Water Quality Index Assessments for Receiving Environments of Metro Vancouver Wastewater Discharges (i.e., 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026). The resulting contract(s) from this RFP will be issued for the first year only (i.e., 2022), with (4) optional 40448728 Buyer's Checklist Page 3 of 3 (1) year extensions, subject to the availability of budget and mutual agreement with the Successful Proponent(s). The work is intended to be an average of 1200 to 1250 hours over the 5-year period but will be awarded on an as and required basis.
