The bid covers approximately 28,000 feet of 2"- 30" PVC pressure pipe and fittings. Bids will be awarded by total price per section. All items within a section must be bid. Note: The sales tax rate of Benton County is 8.0% and will be used to calculate total price for Sections 1, 2, and 3. The sales tax rate for Sunnyside, Washington at 7.9% will be used to calculate total price for Sections 4 and 5. A cashier's check or Bidders Bond, payable to the District for 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the bid opening thereof or before award of the contract unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.
