The purpose of this Invitation for Bid ("IFB") is to solicit proposals and ultimately enter into a pricing agreement/contract between the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City ("HASLC") and a qualified, licensed, and insured firm to provide Boiler Replacement Purchasing and Services at the residential housing property listed below, to include all applicable services listed on the attached Scope of Service. Minority, Women, Veteran, and Tribal owned businesses are encouraged to apply. Question Submission Close Date 11/9/2022 5:00 PM MST The following description, while not intended to cover all details, outlines the major scope of work: Question Deadline 11/09/2022 at 5:00 PM MT Contractors with questions related to this project may submit questions in writing via email to purchasing@haslcutah.org Provide Labor, Tools, and Materials to replace the designated boiler as requested. Demolition and Disposal of the existing unit. Installation of the new boiler meeting the specifications given in Exhibit K below Gas and Water Piping reconnections Exhaust reconnection Crane Service and a complete factory startup of all new equipment Installation of a chemical/testing system of the pot feeder variety to allow for testing and chemical introduction
