New EMS Facility for the City of Gonzales Fire Department. All Bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file at City Hall, 120 South Irma Boulevard, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. All work required shall be completed within one hundred eighty (180) Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the Bidding Documents. Bids shall be accepted only from contractors who are licensed under LS R.S. 37:2150- 2163 for the classification of Building Construction. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his/her address, contractors state license number and the name of the project for which the bid is submitted. The public entity advertising for bids for work may require the bidders to attach bid security in the form of a bid bond, a certified check, or cashiers check for not more than five percent of the estimated price of supplies or materials, as evidence of good faith of the bidder as prescribed by La R.S. 38: 2218(A).
