The City of Davis invites proposals from consultants for design/engineering services related to a wetlands habitat restoration/public access project on a 32-acre parcel of land owned by UC Davis along the South Fork of Putah Creek near Old Davis Road. The City of Davis is partnering with UC Davis on this project. The purpose of the Project is to (1) provide rare off-channel creek habitat for salmon and other critical fish species, (2) provide additional wetland habitat for migratory bird species, (3) provide additional recreational opportunities for people to enjoy nature, specifically rare riparian habitat, and (4) expand the City's network of trails accessible to people with disabilities.
