The City of Wenatchee is seeking a consultant to develop an intentional plan for the enhancement and redevelopment of the Target Area to increase economic vitality and enable a vibrant and sustainable live, work, and play environment. Tremendous urgency exists in the analysis given the funding opportunity with Washingtons Tax Increment Financing, and a variety of cornerstone projects currently under design and/or permitting phase in the Target Area at the time of this request. Given the current growth trajectory and great potential of the community, the time is right to establish a new vision and master plan identifying strategic investments with special attention to implementation for the Target Area to set a positive course of action for the future. Target Area: The Target Area for the analysis extends from Kittitas Street to 5th Street, and Chelan Street to the Columbia River.
