Renovation of a swimming pool in Pompano Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Renovate restrooms and locker rooms at the Pompano Beach Aquatic Center, including replacement of current flooring with nonskid tile & to bring matching or complementing tile 3- 4 feet up the transitions/ walls to facilitate a cleaner and more aesthetic appearance. Paint all walls & ceiling to compliment new tile work. Replace shower stalls and update drain system to ensure proper drainage. Replace all lighting fixtures for recessed LED bathroom lighting for energy efficiency and aesthetic. Update locker-room are with new locker systems and benches to increase patron usability. Improve ventilation and insulation of bathrooms for increased air quality. This project is in included in the City of Pompano Beach FY - 2023 Adopted Budget. As of November 04, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
