The Town of Morrisville, NC (hereinafter referred to as the "Town") is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the purpose as described below: o The project is located at the Town of Morrisville Northwest Park at 998 Parkside Valley Dr, Morrisville, NC 27560. o Installation of 510 linear feet of new 4-foot-tall fence along the Southwestern edge of the property next to Louis Stephens Rd. o The Town reserves the right to award contract(s) to one or more vendors, as determined to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Morrisville is in Wake County, equal distance from Raleigh and Durham. The Town has an estimated population of 29,000 and growing. Development in the Town consists of a variety of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. With a population of just 1,022 in 1990, much of Morrisville's development has occurred in the last 25 years. Selected contractor will be responsible for the installation of 510 linear feet of new 4- foot-tall black aluminum fence along the Southwestern edge of the property next to Louis Stephens Rd. As an alternate, the town is also seeking proposals on an optional fence material of black vinyl coated chain link. Additional details are included in "Appendix B." The project consists of supplying all the labor, equipment, tools, and materials for the installation of the fence. All work must be completed in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and codes. The selected contractor will provide: o Temporary work zone controls for pedestrian traffic and safety o Protection of structure and grounds o Utility Locates in accordance with NC State Law o Mobilization o All supplies, materials, labor, and equipment to complete installation o Completion of installation identified in "Appendix B" o Removal of any spoils, debris or trash generated by the project o Daily clean-up of work area o Restoration of any damaged or disturbed areas o Demobilization o Contractor will have 90 days from the date of the contract execution to complete all work associated with this project Questions related to this RFP should be sent to sspruill@townofmorrisville.org November 14, 2022 at 12:00 PM EDT.
