As of February 13, 2023, project was awarded to Anderson Radio, awarded amount is $39,579.80. The Oscoda Area School District (OAS) located in Iosco County, Michigan, requests bids from qualified vendors for the delivery, installation, and setup of a Bi-Directional Amplifier inside Oscoda High School, 3550 East River Road, Oscoda, MI 48750. This amplifier will be used to boost the already existing signal that our local Emergency Service providers use in order to receive adequate signal to use their communications. This project does require the payment of prevailing wages. Oscoda Area Schools reserves the rights to waive any informality in any bid and to reject any and all bids, and to accept any bid that is considered most favorable to Oscoda Area Schools. All necessary equipment, cables, and devices necessary for solution functionality shall be provided. Solution design must provide coverage for all areas of Oscoda High School. Penetrations to the building will be the responsibility of the vendor. Please include all costs associated with this requirement to ensure the penetration is sealed properly. Vendor will be responsible for any high and low voltage wiring. Vendor will be responsible for any permits or licenses required. Installation of the system will be required after hours, on weekends, or during one of the school's extended breaks. Prevailing wage is required for all labor associated with this project. Oscoda Area Schools will assume that vendor's quote includes the payment of prevailing wage.
