Eastern Kentucky University reserves the right to award in part or in whole and to award multiple suppliers/contracts if in the best interest of the university. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. A point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. This invitation is for renovation work in Mattox Hall as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky Universitys Richmond Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the complete project including all items as indicated throughout the event and attached specifications. Liquidated Damages: $300until Substantial Completion $150 until Final Completion The Contractor shall furnish separate performance and payment bonds to the Owner. The Contractor shall furnish a performance bond satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the faithful performance of the Contract. The Contractor shall also furnish a payment bond satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum for the protection of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials, equipment or supplies for the Contractor or his/her Subcontractor for the performance of the Work provided for in the Contract, including security for payment of all unemployment contributions which become due and payable under Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Law.
