Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Oakland Board of Education at 315 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ 07436, with the name of the project, CONTRACT #62 - RENOVATION OF LOCKER ROOMS TO SGI SPACES AT HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000. The Oakland Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by Oakland Board of Education.
