The City of Fall River invites bids from General Contractors for the Durfee High School Phase II Athletic Field Improvements in accordance with specifications and the provisions of M.G.L. (Ter. Ed.), Chapter 30, 39M and Chapter 30B, 5, inclusive, as amended, and all applicable statutes. PROJECT SCOPE: Removal and replacement of existing Football/Field Hockey synthetic turf field and construction of a new synthetic softball. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site demolition; excavation; metal and chain link fencing, gates and partial restoration of existing fence posts; site furnishings; site lighting and electrical work; rough and fine site grading; concrete walks; synthetic turf; site drainage; water supply. The work must be complete by July 31, 2023. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the City of Fall River in the amount of 5% of the bid.
