Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
In general, the work consists of: removing and replacing two concrete retaining weir 1 walls, 21 concrete 2 water control and fish capture kettles, and miscellaneous drainage improvements including fill placement in 3 ponds, drainage line replacement, and cured-in-place pipe lining. Existing water and air supply lines will be 4 extended, re-routed, and reconnected to the new kettles. General prime contractor bids that do not include the successful MEP bids will be rejected. The state will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, responsible, certified general prime contractor and this general prime contractor will enter into subcontracts with the successful MEP bidders. If a project does not include any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection divisions of work, DFD will bid one bid package for all work to general prime contractors. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineer's 13 attention at least ten (10) days before MEP bidding commences
