The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) is requesting proposals for engineering consulting services (RFP) associated with our Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Program for 2023 through 2025 (project). The District intends to contract with the selected consultant for the calendar year of 2023 with two optional one-year renewals. Each optional year renewal will be at the sole discretion of the District. This RFP is seeking an engineering consultant to develop a flow monitoring program plan, formulate and execute pilot studies, strategically expand the sewer sensor network and data dashboards, and implement data analytics. The goal is for the consultants work to advance data driven decisions for operations, maintenance, and capital improvement project optimization. Additionally, the consultant will create technical and education resource materials and provide other technical expertise to support the Districts efforts in stakeholder involvement and public outreach. No verbal statement made by a district employee or anyone else is binding, nor shall such a statement be considered an official part of this public proposal. The district is federal and state tax exempt and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any technicality and accept any proposal which may, in its opinion, be advantageous to the district. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
