Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ashland, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 17, 2025, per owner, this project is on hold for the foreseeable future. This project will extend the existing Shared Road improvements that were installed previously along the length of Grandview Drive between Ditch Road and Scenic Drive. Shared roadways include roadways on which bicyclists and motorists share the same travel lane. The most suitable roadways for shared bicycle use are those with low speeds (25mph or less) or low traffic volumes (3,000 vehicles per day or fewer). The second phase of the Grandview Drive Reconstruction Project, also part of the Spruce Wash Improvements Projects, will also begin March 2024. This project will entail full street reconstruction, including new curbs, gutters and inverted asphalt pavement roadway along North Grandview Drive. This work is anticipated to be complete in summer 2024. During this time period, North Grandview Drive will be closed to thru traffic, with access for local traffic only throughout construction. Residential access for mail, deliveries, trash, recycling and emergency services will be maintained throughout construction.
