Scope of Work for the project providing its approach for meeting the objectives outlined within the City Scope of Work. The contractor's Scope of Work shall include the approach, method, format, fee, and timing to complete the project. Contractor's preparation of its Scope of Work shall not be interpreted to be the City acceptance of the Scope nor of the Citys acknowledgement that Contractors approach shall fulfill the objectives for the project as outlined within the City Scope of Work unless accepted by the City. Acceptance shall not be construed as overriding the provisions and requirements as contained within the Citys Scope of Work. The insurance policies may provide coverage which contain deductibles or self-insured retentions. Such deductible and/or self-insured retentions shall not be applicable with respect to the coverage provided to the City under such policies. The Consultant shall be solely responsible for the deductible and/or self-insured retention and the City, at its option, may require the Consultant to secure payment of such deductibles or self-insured retentions by a Surety Bond or an irrevocable and unconditional letter of credit. The insurance policies may provide coverage which contain deductibles or self-insured retentions. Such deductible and/or self-insured retentions shall not be applicable with respect to the coverage provided to the City under such policies. The Consultant shall be solely responsible for the deductible and/or self-insured retention and the City, at its option, may require the Consultant to secure payment of such deductibles or self-insured retentions by a Surety Bond or an irrevocable and unconditional letter of credit. The City reserves the right to terminate the Agreement without penalty for any violation of this provision The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
