Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Portsmouth, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The City of Portsmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bids or to accept in whole or in part such bid or bids as may be deemed in the best interest of the purchaser. The contractor shall maintain such insurance as will protect him from claims under the Workers' Compensation Act and other claims for damage under this contract. Such insurance shall be in the amount of $100,000/$300,000 or more. Certification of such insurance shall be filed with the City Engineering office. The Contractor will be required to meet OSHA and City of Portsmouth safety requirements. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid in the form of a Bid/Performance/Payment Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Irrevocable Letter of Credit. Such Bond shall be returned to all unsuccessful bidders upon award of the contract. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to the contract amount. No responsibility will be attached to the City of Portsmouth for the premature opening of a bid not properly addressed and identified. The following is an overview of the work to be performed as part of the project. Refer to the project plans and specifications for details and additional scope items. Item 1: Concrete Foundations and Finishing - Provide labor, materials and equipment to construct spread footings and concrete sidewalk as shown in the drawings. Item 2: Highway Lighting - Provide labor, materials and equipment to remove three (3) luminaires and supports and preserve existing electric service for future use in the pavilion structures. Item 3: Pavilion Installation - Provide labor, materials and equipment to install two (2) prefabricated steel pavilion structures as shown in the plans. The structure members are stored at the city garage, 55 Mary Ann Street, contractor is responsible for hauling members from the city garage to the jobsite.
