CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 01/06/2023 2:00 PM All questions and communications about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website and must be received Project - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE FOLLOWING SCHOOL PLAYSCAPES: - Elementary Schools EAST: - Regan Elementary School - Chase Elementary School - Rotella Elementary School - Elementary Schools SOUTH: - Tinker Elementary School - Washington Elementary School - Hopeville Elementary School - Elementary Schools NORTH - Sprague Elementary School - Bunker Hill Elementary School - Driggs Elementary School Anticipated Project Scope including but not limited to the following: o Provide all required demolition of existing playscape equipment, fencing and play surfaces as described in the contract documents. o Provide all site work and grading as required by the contract documents. o Provide all playscape equipment fencing and landscaping as required by the contract documents. o All appurtenances, accessories, fasteners, drilling and anchoring shall be included to provide a complete and fully functional installation. o All work is to be done in strict accordance with the contract documents and in compliance with all authorities having jurisdiction over the work. o All equipment start-up and owner training shall be included. Playground equipment manufactured by Kompan, furnished, and the installation is the responsibility of the General Contractor and or their Sub-Contractor. - General Contractor to order all equipment as soon as the Purchase Order is received from the City of Waterbury. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to secure and store the equipment until installation. (25% of the work with DAS-certified Small and Minority-owned businesses, and 25% of that work with DAS-certified Minority, Women and/or Disabled owned businesses.)
