The City of Thomasville seeks the services of qualified HVAC Contractors to perform the following: o System Analysis of current Heating & Cooling systems located within identified buildings established for government use. o Cost estimates to replace or upgrade all current systems with HVAC Ventilation systems with capabilities to tackle COVID-19. o Cost Analysis to maintain the newly installed HVAC Ventilation systems in order to properly project future costs for maintenance repairs 1) No bid for formal construction or repair work shall be considered of accepted unless at the time of its filing it is accompanied by a deposit equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The bid deposit may be in any of the following forms: o Cash o Cashier's Check o Certified Check on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation o In lieu of the above, the deposit may be in the form of a bid bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina. 2) The bid deposit shall be retained if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract within 10 days after the award or fails to give satisfactory surety as required by law The City of Thomasville reserves the right to reject any or all qualification packages received, and to waive any irregularities or information in the evaluation process.
